SEN Teaching Assistants (ASD & ADHD) - Dartford
We are working with a number of supportive and inclusive primary schools across Dartford who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with ASD and ADHD on a full-time basis.
These are long-term roles, working 5 days a week, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and ADHD Supporting pupils with focus, engagement and emotional regulation Implementing structured routines and tailored support strategies Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs Creating a calm, consistent and supportive learning environment Supporting behaviour in a positive and proactive wayWhat we're looking for:
Experience supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD in primary schools A calm, patient and resilient approach Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils Understanding of strategies to support attention, sensory needs and routineWhat's on offer:
