This opportunity as an SEN Teaching Assistant allows you to make a real difference to children who benefit from extra guidance and understanding in Blaenau Gwent.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help create a warm, nurturing learning environment where every pupil can succeed. Working closely with teachers and support staff throughout Blaenau Gwent, you will assist learners with additional needs to grow in confidence, independence and academic development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one and small-group support for children with SEN/ALN
Encouraging positive behaviour and active participation
Assisting class teachers with adapting tasks and activities
Bringing empathy, patience and enthusiasm to each school day

In your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will receive competitive daily pay (£89-£92 including holiday pay), simple online systems for timesheets and payroll, and continued guidance from an experienced consultant who understands the role.
