Location: Sleaford and surrounding areas Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities Contract Type: Day-to-day, part-time and long-term placements Salary: £82.08 - £96.96 per day (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available Suitable for: Experienced Teaching Assistants, SEN support staff, and individuals with experience supporting children with additional needs Simply Education are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within supportive primary schools in Sleaford and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning, development, and emotional wellbeing. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and engage positively with school life. We are working with a number of schools in the area who are looking for reliable support staff for day-to-day cover, part-time positions, and longer-term roles that can often lead to permanent opportunities. Your role may include: Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
Supporting pupils with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Helping pupils stay focused and engaged during lessons
Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to support individual learning plans
Contributing to a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for candidates who: Have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
Are patient, understanding, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Communicate effectively and work well within a team
Can adapt their support to suit individual learning and behavioural needs
Hold a CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
