Position - SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay - £475-£550 per week, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-3:30pm

Start Date - 20/04/2026

Prospero Teaching are currently working with a large SEN provision to recruit experienced teaching assistants to join their team. The school supports pupils aged between 11-19, with complex needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils 1:1, assisting with academic and emotional development
Communicate with other members of staff and parents to monitor progress
Create and prepare engaging learning resourcesExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs within a school or care setting
A calm, kind natureTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOther
