The school is looking to take on a SEN Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis starting ASAP. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils with a range of general SEN needs across the primary age range, providing 1:1 and small group support, adapting learning activities and promoting engagement and independence.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have: • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification • Experience working with children with SEN within a school setting • Strong behaviour management and communication skills • A patient, resilient and caring approach • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO • A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude
