SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

The Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to support in a KS3 class. You’ll work closely with pupils on a 1-1 basis in a classroom setting with their learning and development.

The role is full time until September 2026 and will be reviewed to continue for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD. Training will be provided * Work collaboratively with teachers and outside agents to implement individual learning plans * Promote a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment

Essential Requirements

* Experience working with children is essential * Previous experience supporting in a school setting or similar * Understanding of ASD * Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support
