Hours: Part Time - 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm)

A supportive and nurturing Primary School in Little Lever, Bolton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This part-time role involves providing 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with Autism, alongside supporting the wider class when appropriate.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's early development, within a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

The Role

Providing consistent 1:1 support for a young child with Autism in Reception
Supporting communication, engagement and emotional regulation
Assisting the class teacher with adapting activities to meet individual needs
Offering additional support to the wider class when appropriate
Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interaction
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team

The Ideal Candidate Will

Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism
Be patient, nurturing and understanding of individual needs
Have a good understanding of Early Years development
Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Be reliable, consistent and proactive in their approach
