The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with ASD, helping them engage with learning and build confidence in the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and implement strategies that meet the pupil’s individual needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed. Ideally, you will have previous experience supporting children with SEN.

This welcoming primary school is based in Hackney and is only a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station. This school caters for children aged 3–11 and prides itself on its inclusive ethos and strong sense of community.
