A specialist SEN provision in Bath is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team from September. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), autism (ASC), and ADHD across both primary and secondary phases.
You’ll be joining a nurturing, inclusive setting that values respect, resilience, and aspiration—committed to personalised learning and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of tailored learning plans for students with SEMH, ASC, and ADHD.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students engage with learning and develop key life skills.
* Implement behaviour management strategies that foster a positive and inclusive environment.
* Assist students with building social and emotional resilience through structured interventions.
* Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and external professionals to deliver consistent and individualised support.
* Help prepare resources and contribute to the daily organisation of the classroom.
* Support in tracking progress and providing feedback to inform next steps.
* Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare at all times.
