A supportive and forward-thinking SEN school in Newbury is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with complex needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils who may present with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and trauma-related behaviours. Support will be delivered through a mix of 1:1 and small group work, both inside and outside the classroom.

Role Details:

* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: Newbury
* Start Date: ASAP
* Pay: £89-£100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and engagement in learning
* Assisting teachers with adapted lessons and behaviour strategies
* Promoting independence, confidence, and positive social interactions
* Working closely with SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
