SEN Teaching Assistant - Ramsgate, Kent
Academics are working closely with a specialist SEN school in Ramsgate who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The school supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD , providing a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons

Help pupils regulate emotions, develop social skills, and build independence

Implement behaviour support strategies tailored to individual needs

Foster a calm, positive, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working with children or young people with ASC and/or ADHD (school-based or transferable experience welcomed)

Is patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about SEN

Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS

** Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
** £90 - £100 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
** You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
** On site parking included
