Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive primary school in Colindale, Barnet, where inclusion, understanding, and positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do.

This full-time, temporary role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is confident working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and who is passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and emotionally. The school is seeking someone with proven experience supporting pupils with ASD, and a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with ASD

• Support children with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement EHCP targets

• Help create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment

• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
