If you are interested and would like to know more, please click the 'Apply Now' button and one of our consultants will be in touch!\n\nRole: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant\n\nArea: Southwark, South East London\nContract: Daily Supply | Short Term | Long Term\nDays/Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30\nPay: £97 - £115 per day \n\nAdditional Info:\n\nSupport a number of local primary schools to offer a nurturing and inclusive environment when SEN provision is a strong priority.\nYou will be working with a variety of children with additional needs, both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to access learning, build confidence and develop independence.\n\nThe schools will range from having excellent facilities to support pupils, including:\n\nA dedicated Thrive Room for emotional wellbeing\nA highly experienced SENCo\nAn in-house ELSA\nIntervention Rooms for small groups or individual learning supportThe role or Primary SEN Teaching Assistant is an ideal role for someone passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in their day-to-day school experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide 1:1 or small-group support for children with a range of SEN needs.\nAssist in delivering tailored interventions and learning activities.\nSupport pupils in the classroom, during transitions and outdoor learning.\nWork collaboratively with the SENCo, ELSA, teachers and other support staff.\nHelp children develop confidence, communication and emotional regulation.\nBuild positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.Person Specification / Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience supporting children with SEN is preferred but not essential.\nPatient, resilient and adaptable with a calm, nurturing approach.\nAble to support children with varying needs and learning styles.\nStrong communication skills and a willingness to learn.\nPassionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.If you're enthusiastic, caring, and ready to make a positive impact in a fantastic primary school setting, and the role of Primary SEN Teaching Assistant is for you, click 'Apply Now' and one of our consultants will be in touch
