SEN Teaching Assistant

This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with Autism (ASC), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop key communication and social skills. The school has a strong SEN provision and a supportive team in place.
The Role:
Provide consistent 1:1 support for a child with Autism
Adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning needs
Support communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Help create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environmentRequirements:
Previous experience supporting children with ASC
Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience within a primary or SEN setting is highly desirableWhat the School Offers:
