We are proud to support pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties. Working in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join a specialist setting.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs Assist in delivering tailored, engaging learning activities Support pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about supporting children with SEND Patient, resilient, and empathetic A strong team player with excellent communication skills Ideally experienced in a special school or care setting (but not essential) Comfortable supporting personal care needs, if required
