Location: Basingstoke
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Pay: £85 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time

A welcoming primary school in Basingstoke is currently looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEN and helping them build confidence both in the classroom and socially.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help deliver tailored support for pupils with a range of learning needs. Your role will be to help create an engaging and supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Key responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering adapted lessons and learning activities
  • Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Helping to modify classroom materials to suit individual learning needs
  • Encouraging pupils to participate, develop confidence, and work independently
  • Collaborating with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development

Requirements - SEN Teaching Assistant
