Teaching Assistant Specialist School
Location:Smallfield, Surrey
Salary: £13.51£14.45 per hour / £24,139£25,819 actual + £1,000 Welcome Bonus
40 hours per week | Term time only | 8:15am start

What Youll Be Doing
- Building trusting, caring relationships so pupils feel safe, understood and ready to learn
- Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development
- Supporting the Class Teacher with the smooth running of the classroom
- Adapting to the needs of the day and contributing to a positive, nurturing environment
- Promoting pupils cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
- Using physical intervention when required (full training provided)
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/Level 3 or equivalent)
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable)
- Experience in a special school or SEN environment (highly desirable)
- Team Teach training (advantageous)
