The school is seeking a nurturing and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their SEND Hub. The Role in Aston, Birmingham As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who are: * Non-verbal * Experiencing developmental delay * Working at approximately 12-18 months developmental level * Aged from Reception to KS1 Support is delivered through: * Play-based learning * Early Years (EY) approaches * Use of Makaton and some BSL to support communication Two members of staff complete personal care within the setting. While personal care is not essential, a willingness to support when needed would be highly welcomed. What We're Looking For * Experience supporting children with SEND, Early Years, ASD as a SEN Teaching Assistant. * A patient, caring and adaptable approach. * A genuine passion for inclusive education and early intervention. * Reliability and the ability to travel to Aston, Birmingham.
