About the School:
The school is a nurturing, community-focused setting where staff work together to foster curiosity, creativity, and emotional intelligence. The team is highly supportive and passionate about inclusive education. Staff wellbeing and collaboration are at the heart of everything they do.
Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with complex SEN needs
• Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Adapt and scaffold learning materials under teacher direction
• Maintain strong communication with SENCO, class teacher, and parents
• Monitor and record progress and share regular updates
• Support social development and manage sensory needs where applicable
Requirements
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, or similar needs
• SEN qualifications or relevant training (e.g., Team Teach, PECS, Makaton, MAPA)
• Excellent behaviour management and emotional regulation skills
• A nurturing, calm and proactive approach
• Right to work in the UK and DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Benefits
• Competitive pay rates
• Supportive and inclusive school team
• Opportunities for further SEN training and CPD
• Strong leadership and collaborative culture
• Excellent transport links (Brent NW2)
If you’re ready to make a real impact in a child’s life and join a caring school that values SEN expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
