SEN Teaching Assistant - Harrow - September Start - Full-Time - Temp to Perm

A welcoming and well-resourced special needs school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. The school supports pupils with moderate to complex learning difficulties, alongside associated behavioural needs, and is looking for someone who can make a positive, consistent impact in the classroom.

SEN Teaching Assistant: You will work closely with class teachers and therapists to support students on a 1:1 and small group basis. The role involves assisting with learning activities, promoting independence, and helping to manage and regulate behaviour in a calm and supportive manner.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Support pupils with moderate to complex learning difficulties Assist in delivering tailored learning plans and activities Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours effectively Build strong, trusting relationships with students Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN professionalsSEN Teaching Assistant Attributes:
