Learning Support Assistant - Barking and Dagenham

We are recruiting a SEN TA to join a specialist setting in Barking and Dagenham. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based in Barking and Dagenham and focuses on delivering high-quality education and training for learners aged 11 to 19 with complex needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students aged 11-19 with complex needs
Support pupils to access the curriculum and engage in education and training activities
Assist with personalised learning plans, EHCP outcomes, and differentiated tasks
Support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and positive engagement
Use visual supports, structured routines, and specialist strategies
Support students during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and the wider team to ensure consistent support
