As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive, nurturing learning environment where every pupil feels valued. Working alongside teachers and wider support teams throughout Blaenau Gwent, you'll help learners with additional needs develop confidence, independence and academic skills.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Offering one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN/ALN

Promoting positive behaviour and active engagement in learning

Assisting class teachers by adapting tasks and activities where needed

Bringing patience, empathy and enthusiasm to every school day
