1:1 SEN Support Newport
Would you like to be part of improving children's lives? Are you experienced in working with children with ALN?
Academics are looking for someone to work in a lovely school in Newport on a 1:1 basis in their Learning Resource Base.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will make a vital difference in the progress and academic development of pupils with ALN whilst supporting them in their social and emotional development.
Key responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support to a child with ALN and help students understand instructions. * Assist in implementing individual learning and support plans * Work alongside the classroom teacher and SEN team to create a positive working environment * Prepare, provide and deliver suitable learning materials.

Requirements:
* Experience in a SEN setting (essential) * Experience working 1:1 with ALN pupils (desirable) * Enhanced DBS (We can assist with the process) * Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) - we are here to help with the process. * Two professional and recent references.
