TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming primary school in Northfield, offering a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and pupils. The school is committed to providing high quality education and support, with a strong focus on nurturing children with additional needs.

The school is looking to take on a full time, long term SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 classroom. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of additional needs, helping to deliver tailored interventions and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within KS1
• A strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
