Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Bury.

Do you have a caring nature and a passion for helping pupils reach their full potential?

We are working with welcoming and inclusive schools in Bury who are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings.

The Role:

-Support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
-Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
-Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
-Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
-Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills
-Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

-Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting
-A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
-Strong communication and behaviour management skills
-Relevant TA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
