About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH) to support students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to work in a close-knit, supportive school community that prioritises the wellbeing and progress of every child.
As an SEN TA, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
• Implement tailored interventions that foster emotional regulation, focus, and positive behaviours.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENDCos, and external specialists to track pupil progress.
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that encourages engagement and self-belief.
