Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH through school in Greenwich, supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary phases.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships and helping pupils overcome social, emotional and behavioural barriers to learning.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with SEMH needs
Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement and behaviour
Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence and self‑esteem
Use de‑escalation strategies and proactive behaviour management approaches
Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals
Help maintain a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour
(education, PRU, youth work, care or similar settings)
Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
A calm, empathetic and patient approach
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
Availability to commit full‑time from next term
