We are seeking a passionate and dedicated experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Glendinning Academy and make a positive impact on the lives of our students. Position Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the schools SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to thrive academically and socially. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom. Assist classroom teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations for students with SEN. Help students develop essential life skills, independence, and confidence. Previous experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs is desirable. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the diverse needs of students with SEN. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are advantageous but not essential. Willingness to undergo relevant training and continuous professional development.
