A Primary SEN Secondary School in Birmingham is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to cover a long-term absence. It is a successful school with a long and proven track record of providing high quality education for pupils with ASC. The school has strong leadership, gained a good in their last Ofsted and gives support and development to members of staff working in the school on a temporary basis. Details of the role and school:

• The role is Monday to Friday and is term time only on a temporary basis
• The post is to start in April 2026 and will run till the end of the academic year
• The person concerned will be working with a class of 12 Year 3 pupils, providing support to the pupils and working alongside other Teaching Assistants and the Class Teacher
• The role will be supporting pupils with teaching and learning as well as with behaviour and social and emotional wellbeing
• The person concerned will have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant and have experience of working with children with Autism
