Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Specialist Provision

Liverpool £109.85 per day Start Date: 4th May 2026 Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work full-time within a specialist provision in the Liverpool area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with SEND and SEMH additional needs, helping them to engage in education and develop both academically and emotionally.

Role Responsibilities

Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

Willing to support students with SEND and SEMH needs Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one Reliable, patient, and resilient approach This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career within specialist education.
