SEN Teaching Assistant - Henleaze, Bristol �?Start: ASAPHours: Full-time or part-timeA welcomingprimary school in Henleaze is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant toprovide focused 1:1 support. This role is ideal for someone with strong SENexperience who is passionate about helping pupils access learning in asupportive, structured environment.Role Overview �?

• Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies
• Encourage engagement, confidence and emotional regulation
• Support classroom routines, transitions and small-group work

Candidate Profile �?

• Previous SEN experience is essential
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• Level 2/3 TA qualification advantageous
• Driving licence beneficial

• SEN training highly valued, including:
• Understanding Autism
• ADHD Awareness
• Team Teach / De-escalation Training
• Trauma-Informed Practice
• BSL or communication-based training
• Makaton (highly desirable for supporting communication needs)
