We are currently recruiting Permanent SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Coventry, starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are seeking a long‑term role within a specialist education setting.

The Role

Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural needs
Providing 1‑to‑1 and small‑group support in line with individual education plans (IEPs)
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom support
Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and independence
Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
What you'll need to succeed

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school, care, or support setting
A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
Confidence supporting pupils with additional or complex needs
Comfortable supporting pupils with personal care where required
A good understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
A genuine commitment to making a positive difference in pupils' lives
