This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting pupils with additional needs.This role would suit individuals with experience in education, care, or support work, as well as those looking to gain valuable classroom experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant.In this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils both in the classroom and in small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop key social and communication skills. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and consistent learning environment.Within this role, you will:Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and during small group activitiesAssist with the delivery of targeted interventionsHelp pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and engagementEncourage independence and participation in lessonsWork collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning outcomesThe school offers a supportive environment, welcoming staff, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
