Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD in a Key Stage 1 or 2 classroom.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external specialists.
• Adapt learning materials and tasks to support individual learning needs.
• Use strategies to promote focus, engagement, and emotional regulation.
• Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and assessments.
• Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning atmosphere.
RequirementsRequirements
• Experience supporting children with ASD or other Special Educational Needs.
• Knowledge of communication tools such as PECS or visual timetables is a plus.
• A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
