About the Role You’ll be part of a warm, skilled and enthusiastic team supporting children aged 8–19 with severe learning difficulties and non-verbal communication needs. This setting operates as a home-based learning environment — no classrooms, no traditional structure… instead, learning happens through play, exploration and real-life experiences across the whole waking day. Every moment is a teaching moment. Every day is an opportunity to help a child grow. You will lead a small group of 4–5 children, supported by a dedicated team, ensuring their integrated education and care needs are met. You’ll monitor plans, guide staff, recommend training and play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging developmental environment. What You’ll Bring Strong understanding of the National Curriculum & differentiation Experience with autism and severe learning difficulties Positive Behaviour Support knowledge Creativity and problem-solving skills A desire to help children achieve meaningful, functional outcomes Experience or interest in PROACT-SCIPr-UK (training available) This role is stimulating, rewarding and deeply fulfilling — and you’ll receive full induction and ongoing training.
