Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher - South West London

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students who have a range of learning difficulties, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and physical disabilities. You will provide personalised support tailored to the individual needs of each student, ensuring they receive a high-quality education in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons for students with various SEN needs.

Develop Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) in collaboration with parents, the SENCO, and other professionals.

Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods to ensure effective learning.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting emotional and social development.

Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants, ensuring they are well-equipped to support students.

Liaise with parents, caregivers, and outside agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

We are looking for someone who is:

Qualified: You should hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification and have experience teaching students with SEN.

Passionate: A genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs.

Empathetic: A patient and understanding approach, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Organised: Ability to plan and adapt lessons, track student progress, and manage classroom dynamics.

Creative: Capable of developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies tailored to individual needs.
