A SEN teacher is needed for a pupil referral unit (PRU) in North London for secondary school students with special educational needs aged 11-16.
As a SEN teacher, you will be working with students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools, with the aim of providing them with qualifications to ensure a successful future.

Your responsibilities as a SEN teacher may include:
Lesson planning and delivery for students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. This may include alternative teaching methods, such as Lego therapy and intensive interaction sessions. Helping students to develop confidence and independence. Implementing behaviour management techniques, which may include physical restraints, to maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Working with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors, and psychologists Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
