Part-Time SEN Teacher - SEMH Hub Provision

Location: Sheffield
Start Date: ASAP (from next week)
Hours: Approx. 12:45pm - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and supportive school in Sheffield that is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to lead a small in-school hub provision for pupils with SEMH needs.

This is a part-time, afternoon role, ideal for a skilled practitioner who has experience running or leading a nurture group, SEND hub, or similar specialist provision within a school setting.

The Role

Lead an established SEMH hub provision for around 6 pupils
Work closely with a dedicated Teaching Assistant
Deliver structured, nurturing support to meet pupils' social, emotional and behavioural needs
Undertake light planning and preparation (built into the working hours)
Provide consistency and stability - the school is seeking the same person every day

Pupil contact time:

Approximately 1:00pm - 3:20pm
Additional time either side for planning/preparation

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience leading or running an in-school SEND / SEMH provision (essential)
Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach
Confident working with pupils with SEMH needs
Able to commit to daily afternoons on an ongoing basis
