We are seeking individuals who are committed to supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, SLD, and PMLD.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students, often working closely with support staff and other professionals. You will play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning, promoting engagement, progress, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons suited to the needs of pupils with SEN. * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team. * Implement EHCP targets and maintain records of pupil progress. * Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. * Use creative and therapeutic strategies to encourage student engagement.
The Ideal SEN Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Strong behavior management and communication skills. * Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude. * A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
