About the Role Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who may not hold full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) but has significant experience leading and planning lessons within SEN settings.
You will play a key role in delivering engaging, structured lessons that support pupils with diverse learning needs, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons to pupils with SEN
Lead small classes or groups, adapting teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and learning
Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting lesson plans where necessary
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and wider support staff
Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
