This full-time role involves delivering 1:1 teaching in Maths and English to secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs.\n\nYou will plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons in line with students' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Dyslexia. Working closely with SENCOs, teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in helping students achieve both academic progress and personal development.\n\nThe successful candidate will create a structured, nurturing learning environment that builds confidence, promotes independence and supports emotional regulation.

You will regularly monitor progress, set achievable targets and provide meaningful feedback to support each student's individual journey.\n\nRequirements\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or proven experience as an SEN Tutor at secondary level\n\nStrong subject knowledge in secondary Maths and English\n\nExperience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Dyslexia\n\nAbility to differentiate and individualise lessons effectively\n\nStrong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships\n\nExperience working within an SEN or specialist setting (highly desirable)\n\nCompliance\n\nEnhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)\n\nRight to work in the UK\n\nTwo professional references\n\nRelevant teaching qualifications and/or SEN training certificates\n\nUp-to-date safeguarding and child protection training\n\nInterested?\n\nPlease email \n or call (phone number removed) (Option 4)
