SEN Teacher - Secondary (Maths & English)\n\nLocation: International School, SEN Department\n\nBorough: Westminster\n\nHours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm\n\nRole: SEN Teacher / Tutor (Secondary)\n\nSalary: M1 to M6 depending on expereince Job Overview:\n\nProvide one-to-one teaching in Maths and English to secondary-aged students within the SEN department.\n\nDeliver tailored, engaging lessons that meet individual Education Plans (EHCPs).\n\nSupport students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Dyslexia, adapting teaching strategies to suit diverse learning needs.\n\nWork collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and support staff within an international school environment.\n\nMonitor progress, set targets, and provide feedback to support academic and personal development.\n\nCreate a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.\n\nJob Requirements - SEN Teacher / Tutor:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or proven experience as an SEN Tutor in secondary education.\n\nStrong subject knowledge in Secondary Maths and English.\n\nExperience working with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Dyslexia.\n\nAbility to differentiate, individualised lessons.\n\nStrong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.\n\nExperience working within an SEN or specialist provision is highly desirable.\n\nCompliance Requirements:\n\nEnhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply).\n\nRight to work in the UK.\n\nTwo professional references.\n\nRelevant teaching qualifications and/or SEN training certificates.\n\nSafeguarding and child protection training\n\nInterested?\n Please email \n or call (phone number removed) (Option 4)
