Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting students who need a fresh start? Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.

About the Role

Teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students in a small, supportive setting.
Deliver English and Maths lessons tailored to individual needs.
Work closely with a team focused on transitioning students back into mainstream education.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or in alternative provisions is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management and ability to build positive relationships.
A commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
