We’re looking for a passionate SEND Teacher Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in Greenwich. The school works with primary and secondary pupils with needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, with a strong focus on helping each child feel safe, included, and confident.
Main Tasks:
Support students 1:1 or in small groups Help adapt classwork so it suits each child’s needs Support daily routines, sensory activities, and interventions Encourage positive behaviour and social confidence Work closely with teachers and the SEND teamWhat we’re looking for:
Experience with SEND (especially autism and behaviour support is helpful) Knowledge of Autism-friendly strategies, sensory needs, and behaviour management approaches. Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential).
