We are recruiting Unqualified SEN Support Workers to join specialist SEN and SEMH schools across South Bristol from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who need additional emotional and behavioural support to engage in education and reach their potential. About the Schools These specialist settings support pupils aged 5-16 with a range of needs, including: • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) • ADHD • Trauma and attachment-related needs • Behaviour challenges linked to adverse childhood experiences Schools provide small class sizes, structured routines and a therapeutic approach to learning. Staff work closely together to create a safe, nurturing and consistent environment for all pupils. The Role As an Unqualified SEN Support Worker, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support • Help pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviour effectively • Support learning activities linked to individual EHCP targets • Build strong, professional relationships based on trust and consistency • Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals • Support pupils both in lessons and during wider school activities This role requires patience, resilience and a calm, proactive mindset.
