The School and Role A specialist All through school in Uxbridge, West London, a short walk from Hillingdon Hospital are looking for a Childrens Mental Health Assistant to support young people and children with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders. The TA would be in a class of 8 students with a mix of abilities and needs.

Not working 1:1 but happy to lead small groups when the teacher sets the work. Experience with ASD / Downs Syndrome / ADHD would be ideal but someone open minded and reliable.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met. You will be responsible for supporting their educational, social, and emotional development.
