SEN Learning Support Assistant

ABC Teachers is looking for skilled SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN School in Birmingham on a full-time basis.
About the role:
Ability to work confidently with students with a range of Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Key Stage 3.
Develop strong, professional relationships with the pupils to understand their range of complex needs and how best to assist them in school.
Assist the class teacher with the delivery of planned lessons and support with smaller groups or 1:1 during class activities.
Assess and monitor student’s progress, using assessments from their home schools and robust baseline diagnosis, aiming to reduce the impact of their medical conditions on their educational outcomes.
Full time position available for an immediate start, with potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
