This role is particularly well suited to aspiring teachers, educational psychologists, youth workers, therapists, or behaviour specialists , as well as those with a strong interest in SEN and inclusive education. The Role: Full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant position Based in a specialist, inclusive setting within the London Borough of Islington Supporting students aged 11-19 with ASD, SEMH, and behavioural needs Providing 1:1 and small group support inside and outside the classroom Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning Ideal Candidate: A genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional support Experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential) If you are ready to take on a rewarding role as a SEN Learning Support Assistant and make a real difference in Islington, apply now !
