You’ll work with a varied portfolio of limited company clients - from growing SMEs to group audits across sectors like manufacturing, IT, retail and charities.

What you’ll actually be doing

Accounts: – Preparing statutory year-end accounts – Producing management accounts (journals, accruals, prepayments) – VAT returns – Supporting corporation tax computations – Speaking directly with clients

Audit: – Preparing audit working papers – Supporting statutory audits (including group work) – Identifying risks and controls – Building confidence working on-site with clients

There’s occasional travel for audits (planned well in advance), but nothing excessive or last-minute.

Who this suits

You’ll likely have: • Around 2–4 years’ UK practice experience • A mix of accounts and audit exposure • Experience with Ltd company clients • Confidence preparing audit files and accounts • ACCA or ACA studies underway

Most importantly - you’ll want to step up properly within the next 12–24 months.
