Accounts Semi-Senior/Outsourcing Part-QualifiedMcGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top40 Accounting Firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior/Outsourcing Part-Qualified to join their growing Client Services team in Milton Keynes. Assisting with a portfolio of SME businesses and traders, you will be undertaking bookkeeping, VAT returns and basic management accounts, and is a fantastic opportunity for someone AAT Qualified or Qualified By Experience. Key duties include:Day to day bookkeeping for a range of SME clients as well as assisting with the preparation of management accounts and VAT returnsAssisting with basic preparation of consolidated financial reporting packs for clientsEnsuring client entries of financial transactions are correct, advising of corrections or efficiency improvementsWorking with clients, assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and solutionsResponding to internal manager and external client queries on a range of basic financial issues.Providing basic training to graduates and junior staff on cloud accounting packages – Xero Accounts and QuickbooksVisiting clients onsite to help resolve bookkeeping/accounting issues or take on accounts-related projectsHelping to file year-end statutory accounts with HMRC and Companies House for clients as necessaryLiaising with Managers to ensure all client accounting work is completed accurately, within budget and on timeTo be considered for the Accounts Semi-Senior/Outsourcing Part-Qualified role you should be seeking a firm where wider responsibilities, personal ownership and a broader client base will be made available to you, and knowledge of cloud accounting packages would be a distinct advantage. Experience of working in a Top100 or recognisable local Accountancy Firm is required along with basic client/portfolio management, VAT return preparation skills & bookkeeping experience. You should ideally be AAT Qualified and/or ACCA Part-Qualified, looking to carry on with your studies to full qualification (a study support package is available).On offer is a salary up to £33,000 depending on relevant experience, 25 days holiday, corporate pension & healthcare schemes, and flexible working/WFH options.
